About the Artist
Born in 1959 in Washington state, Douglas Hagan is an avid outdoorsman and conservationist. His creative inspiration comes through his faith and family, while his art perspective is from the eyes of a sportsman. He hopes this is evident in his work. In any month during the year Doug can be found casting a line in a lake or stream or "glassing the forest" for game. He has always been inspired by the remote wilderness areas of north America, and now resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
